Scott Haas, Esq. established the litigation firm in 2006, and has been a commercial litigation attorney since 1998. Scott graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1998 (magna cum laude) and was a member of the litigation and dispute resolution department at the law firm of Abel Band Russell Collier Pitchford & Gordon in Sarasota, Florida, from 1998 to 2003. Thereafter, Scott joined the law firm of Walters Levine Klingensmith and Thomison, where he litigated commercial, real estate and construction law matters.
Scott is authorized to practice law in the state and federal courts throughout Florida. Scott has pursued claims throughout Florida for regional and national contractors and businesses.
Scott’s practice is primarily focused on creditor and plaintiff representation, but he often defends and protects the rights of those against whom claims have been brought. Scott handles complex matters with the detail each unique matter deserves. He is involved with each matter the firm undertakes, and believes that careful thought and consideration, along with professionalism, are keys to success.
Scott has lived in Florida since 1979 and graduated from the University of South Florida (Tampa) in 1993, with honors. He enjoys sports and culture, and is the founder of SIGS (Speaking in Group Settings) and MMIGS. He has traveled to Asia several times, spending time in Japan and Thailand.
